Order of Pius IX

Postby couceiro » 06 Feb 2015 13:43

Hello!
I have two different decorations that my great-grand-father received in Italy (Vatican) by the end of the 19th century. One is "knight", the other one is "commander", but which is which?
Thanks very much.

They are almost identical. The main difference is where the medal is placed: left breast for knight, neck for commander.
